Dr. Monica Kraft is a Principal Investigator for All of Us UArizona-Banner. Prior to joining the University of Arizona in 2014, Dr. Monica Kraft, MD, was at Duke University, where she served as chief of the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care, as the Charles C. Johnson, MD, Distinguished Professor of Medicine, and as director of the Duke Asthma, Allergy and Airway Center, which she founded. As vice chair for research in the Duke University Department of Medicine from 2009-13, Dr. Kraft implemented several important initiatives to support the department’s research endeavors and was instrumental in the re-submission and renewal of Duke’s National Institutes of Health-funded Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA). Dr. Kraft has been published more than 150 times and has been funded by the National Institutes of Health for the past 25 years.

Principal investigator, associate vice president for diversity and inclusion at the University of Arizona Health Sciences, professor of psychiatry UA college medicine Tucson. He also has served as executive vice chair, interim department head and as director for inpatient, outpatient, residency and research programs in the Department of Psychiatry. He has a special interest in working with the underserved and has established clinical, educational and research collaborations to decrease the gap of mental health services for immigrants in Arizona.
